He is the Head of the Direction of Informatics of the Ministry of Higher Education in Cuba. He is the national coordinator of the project: “Program for the Enhancement of Research Information (PERI)” in Cuba. He is a senior professor at the Ministry of Higher Education and Titular Professor at the Cuban Informatics University.
