Zbigniew Nowicki received a Ph.D. degree in 1978 from the Institute of Computer Science Foundations of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 1985 he serves as a national CDS/ISIS distributor in Poland. For many years he worked as a computer science consultant to the International Trade Centre UNCTAD/WTO in Geneva. Author of two CDS/ISIS guidebooks: ''How to utilize advanced features of CDS/ISIS'' (1st ed.1989, 2nd ed. 1992) and ''New features of the WinISIS system'' (2001).
