This poster  presents an overview of the role played by the League of Arab States in widening the use of the CDS/ISIS in the Arab Region, providing distribution, technical support, and development and tools in order to facilitate the use of the system in Arab Region.

It describe the Arabization process and techniques used. Also conversion character set tables ,

It also highlights the joint technical cooperation between the League of Arab States and  Unesco in the Arabization of the  s ystem.. In addition to the problems facing the users ant its solutions especially the data transmission from the old version of the system under DOS to the new one under Windows..

It recommends Arabization of some of the system applications to expand its use in the Arab Region.
